Theme: An award ceremony in true Kiwi style
Venue: Rangimarie Room, Te Papa
The Brief: To design and install centrepieces and simple
room dressing with a Kiwi feel
The Challenge: Exploring different ways to utilise New
Zealand’s natural resources.
The Outcome: Simple yet striking arrangements utilising
pumice, paua, puka leaves, and driftwood encased in a glass lantern. The
theme was extended to include ketes filled with river stones and pumice
illuminated with pinlights, placed at focal points throughout the space.
