CASE STUDY
Museum Hotel, Wellington
Client: Chris
Parkin
Theme: Theatrical flare
Website:
www.museumhotel.co.nz
The Brief: To create a theatrical theme for the new Foyer
areas.
The Challenge: To tie the modern building with classical
pieces of furniture and showcase Chris’s extensive art collection.
The Outcome: A glamorous theatrically stunning space
glittering with gold leaf, paneled mirrors & chandeliers reminiscent
of gilded Belgium Bars in the 1900’s. Art works hang on antique
crackled panels surrounded by glass tiles; it’s the kind of environment
found in cosmopolitan European cities and uniquely in Wellington.
