The Brief: To retheme the Trust Porirua Aquatic Centre.
The Challenge: To work with existing features, and in
a chemical and moisture laden environment that demanded specialist treatments
of decorative elements.
The Outcome: An airy and light-filled centre, retaining
the child-like feel of a fantasy world. Everywhere you cast your eye,
shimmering floating bubbles, coloured washes, frosted surfaces, aluminum
and gleaming silver finishes work together to enhance the illusion.
