Venue: Michael Fowler Centre Stage - Wellington

The Brief:
To create a Wellington experience for visiting clients.

The Challenge:
Finding ourselves on the stage of the MFC for the first time – the venue is dominated by wooden surfaces – the challenge was to create an environment that sat in perfect harmony with its surroundings.

The Outcome:
Bringing greenery to the stage under a central hanging garden chandelier where tables sat around in a perfect square – opened the central floor area up for a garden and pond for guests to admire. Tiny lights accentuated the dreamlike quality of the outside world – inside. Settings were simply highlighted with gold charger plates and tea lights which warmly glinted in the stage lighting. Our green truly native scene nestled on the stage in unison with the dramatic wooden auditorium and looked quiet at home there.
